Re-Install or Install the sound drivers that came with your motherboard CD. If you don't have the latest sound drivers, post your Sound specs and we can help get the latest drivers.

I tried installing and it didn't do anything. It said I need to go to the Microsoft website and get a HD Audio Bus Driver. I couldn't find it anywhere on the internet.

The on-board sound is Realtek ALC662 5.1 Channel HD Audio

Realtek ALC662

It is a little down the list depending on your Operating System. Make sure you select the one compatible with the operating system your running.

Try uninstalling all of your previous sound drivers and remove any other USB or Sound Devices. Install drivers and restart. Then post back.

Did you try Windows Update, those usually have the sound drivers.
