i own a dell xps M140 laptop...its about a year old and suddenly i tried to play a dvd today and i realize the computer is unable to play the dvd because it no longer recognizes that i have a CD/DVD drive.... the computer cant find drive D even though my hard drive is still in tact i'd like to know what i can do to remedy the problem?
is my CD drive gone? damaged? for those of you who have heard this before.. does this sound like something that happens after the owner dropped their computer? has my computer been damaged without me knowing? does this mean replacing hardware? or is this a software problem i can fix without much spending???? all opinions appreciated...... |
