Default iTunes is giving me back talk

**READ FIRST!!**
If you think the following problem could have something to do with not having the Microsoft .NET framework up to date, please go to my other blog here:
http://www.computerforum.com/105000-...tml#post835543

Runtime Error!
Program: D:\Program FIles\iTunes\iTunes.exe
R6025
-pure virtual function call

This is the message iTunes gives me when I run it. It shuts down afterward. Then I can succesfully run it again, but it works VERY slowly and does that thing that apps sometimes do when they're listed in the task manager as "not responding. You know how if you drag other windows across it then the window kind of cascades over where the malfunctioning app should be on the screen? My iPod syncs just fine, however.

I can't live like this. Please help. Please!
