Default Most wanted for Vista to run better

Im planning to buy Vista for my Personnal Computer.

My first Question

Which is Better - Home or Ultimate ?

Second
-------
To get better performance from vista what is most wanted -
Faster RAM or Better Board?


(I have Intel P4 HT Processor D865GBR and 512DDR RAM)

I highly recommend Ultimate. If your gonna lay the money down for the OS, then get the one that has the bells and whistles, not to mention dreamscenes are really cool and a Ultimate exclusive!

There are two different version of Home. Home Premium is a great version if you don't want to spend $200 for it, although Ultimate has a few more features.

You're definitely going to need more RAM. I would recommend 2 GB. A better board that supports DDR2 memory would be a good idea too.
