AMD 64 x2 4200 939
ATI 2600 pro agp
2 gigs ram
1, 150 gig HDD
1, 80 gig HDD
DVD burner and CD burner
XP pro
430 watt PSU

I built it about 2 years ago, the AM2 boards had not come out yet when I built it. They came out about 2 months later. Pissed me off big time. And at the time Intel chips sucked.

It was not top of the line when I built it, but close enough.

The 2600 was a recent upgrade. I did have a ATI 9800 pro.

I have played Crysis at medium settings and at low res with around 15 fps, so that game is out. But I can play UT3 at decent FPS and TF2 at full settings. So yeah I do game. And since those are the only games I am interested in right now, it works for me.

But give it a few months and I will be building a new system. I am just going to wait until prices come down some. And 430 watt is fine for this system. It has no need for more.

Depends on prices and what is out by then. It's to early to plan one right now, since who knows what things will be like in a couple of months.
