Default Help!lost my files

Hi,

I recovered my laptop (Asus) by choosing "recovering whole HDD" even if i should have chosen "recovering first partition", so i lost my second partition, and all files in it.
i tried file recovery programs, but they didnt work. (they cant show me the files in old second partition)

is there anyway to take my files back?
thanks for any reply.

Besides a good program like Active Undelete your only option after that is to bring or send the drive in to a professional data recovery service and pay a good labor charge for that. If the files are simply downloads you will just have to find them and redownload again. For strictly personal unreplaceable items then the professionals need a call.
