What is wrong with the case I picked out? I would like to have a full tower so I have plenty of room to work with.
I am just so confused on the MOBO. There are so many to pick from. I would like it to be compatible with DDR3 memory so I can upgrade to that in the future if I decide to.

One of the reasons I picked that case, may be a dumb reason, is it has 8 fans. One thing I noticed is it is a little small compared to other full towers.
What case do you have in mind? I still don't know about the MOBO. Is x38 the better chipset?

X38, P31, P35, 780i, are all good 45nm compatible motherboards. I'd recommend any of em.
The Antec 900 is a extremely great cooler. Although the number of fans may be smaller, the fans are larger and perform better on the 900.

The one thing I noticed about the Antec 900 is the PSU goes on the bottom rather than the top. To me that doesn't seem right because most of them are on top.
About the processor, which one would be better or multitasking and gaming, the q6600 or the e8400?

Q6600 will perform worse in gaming than the E8400, but better in multitasking.
Hmm, well it also depends on the motherboard you pick. It might not support 45nm's.

Well, I am definitely going to pick a motherboard that is 45nm compatible. Thanks for all the help so far.

No problem. Keep in mind that the P31 and P35 series, although compatible, require a CMOS flash to run the processors. If you feel unconfortable or afraid to do this, the 780i and X38 natively support 45nm's, thus you don't need to flash the CMOS.
As for right now, I'm still debating how this is going to work. The E8400 excels at gaming and the Q6600 blows multitasking away. Which of the 2 do you do more?

I probably do more multitasking but I go through spells where games is about all I do. Now I am really getting confused.
What about the case? Do you have any suggestions on the case?

I guess it depends on how much multitasking you want to do and whether that would be greater than the need for gaming. As for the case maybe have a look at the CoolerMaster 690, its fairly plain but i think it looks nice and will you really need 8 fans? I have a P35 mobo and it suits me fine but i guess it comes down to personal preference and what you will be using it for.
