However at some point (imo, around 2k), its pointless to keep dumping money into a computer. Even the best of the best right now will only last so long and the price/proformance ratio is ridiculously not worth it.

if you really wanna be able to brag and pwn some nubs for the next few months, i suggest this.

And see, the 2nd gfx card which doesnt yeild an amazinggain, 2nd raptor (just get normal hd if you need more space) is like 500$. Both will yield little and can save you 500$ if cut out or reduced...but if money is seriously no object, go for it, and PM me. Ill give you my address and you can send any extra money you have to me

i heard that 2 video cards in SLI mode can screw performance.. so is viable to get 2 video cards?

wait ... when u gave me that list JimKonow u didnt mean to give me 2 grahics cards just gave me a choice of the bundle or just the seperate card. or did u intend that i instal 2 cards?

I believe he was intending you use the two cards for sli.

two cards for SLI, but that bundle is a nice deal.
id go for that myself.

Why not a Asus X38, QX9650, 8800GTX? Much better deal. The 8800GT also pwns the GTS series...
