I thinks its stupid that 3DMark06 also includes the CPU benchmark. The best way is to compare only the video benchmarks seperate.

I don't think it's stupid, this way it actually compares how well a computer holds up in gaming, and shows where a potential bottleneck is.

If you want to compare just video card scores, they do tell you what the SM2 and SM3 tests are.

im saying that a benchmark is just a benchmark even though vista may hurt 3dmark06 scores. Actual ingame performance is the best bet.

very true, but vista does hurt FPS.

But it also does help FPS sometimes...
