Default New Rig...with some old parts...

Ok...Want to put some upgrades into my current comp, which is a dell 2400 with a 2.8 p4 1 gig of ram...
What I want to do is to:
New Motherboard http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...131-492&depa=0
New Video Card:
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...130-202&depa=1
Keep my 2 512's of pc2700 ram, and add another gig of it
Use a spare 120gb 7200 rpm HD i have as my main drive, and have a backup 40 gig drive(my current drive)
keep my current case
and use my current 2.8ghz p4
What yall think...I want to keep it to a rather minimum in cost, but still have a good computer that I can play my games at higher graphics levels.....
Any input wanted...
-Thanks in advance
Travis

I not certain that a atx motherboard would fit in a dell 2400 case.

it is Matx, i think there was a thread here with the same question, but it was a 2350, the MOBO you want to put is an atx which is to big for DELL case and you still have to get a new PSU coz DELL PSU wont work for new MOBO, but CPU/RAM/HDD is compatible.

Dell Dimension 2400
Gonna scream new PSU and possible new case

Good call on the 6800 but you might consider the X800Pro as it ships with GDDR3 memory ... the reason i suggest this is that both the 6800NU and X800Pro (which have 12 pipes) can be unlocked to have 16 pipes and essentially be a 6800GT or X800XL/XT. An additional difference between the 6800NU and the 6800GT is the lack of GDDR3 memory (which limits memory overclocks)
