Hello all,
I recently corrupted my registry beyond repair so I decided to format and reinstall windows. However, when I insert the windows disk before boot, I hit any key and then it displays " bad boot.ini" and then tries to boot from the normal c drive which obviously will not work because of the damaged registry. I have experimented with other computers and they are all able to boot from the same windows cd just fine. |

Yeah but the thing is I cannot get the cd to boot. It reads press any key to boot from cd like normal, but when I hit a key it displays "bad boot.ini" or whatever and then resorts to trying to boot from c like normal. Is it possible for the cd to not work for one computer and work for others?
