Hi, I have 2 PCs running on a wired home network. My main PC is running Vista Home Premium, the other PC is running XP SP2.
The problem is that I have 2 WD MyBook USB hard drives connected to the Vista PC that I cannot access from the XP PC. I can see the drives, but I get a "not accessible" error when trying to access them. I have no problems accessing an older Maxtor external USB, or the internal HDD installed in the Vista PC. Any guesses? It seems to me that it must be some type of issue with just the Western Digital drives since I have no problem with the Maxtor or the internal HDD. Thanks for any help! |
