I'm running prime95 right now with my Zalman 9700 fan going at 2/3 speed and it isn't going over 42. I tried putting the bus at 265 and it crapped out, should i up the voltage?

Did you overcloced your voltage? If not then do so.

in the bios at VCORE it says [auto] so i checked it and it says it was at 1.312 so i put it at 1.337 (lol leet) and it still didn't work. should i be putting it at 1.337 or just putting .025 as the increase? should i try it on 1.350

Yep, try it. But don't overdo it. Try it step by step. But, if you see that the CPU is at is limit, then stop.

and in bios i set the DRAM frequency to 818MHz and under CPUz it's showing 409MHz. This is because it is DDR2, so effectively it's 818, correct?

Yes that is correct. Double Data Rate 2, X2 the frequency. So you are running at 818mhz.
