Default Please help... don't want welcome screen

I am using xp pro and I would like my computer to boot up right to my destop. I don't want to have to click my user name at that blue screen. Is there a way not to have that screen show up. Thank you. Frank

Yes, go into User Accounts and click on the item at the left that says "Change the way users log on and off"

Uncheck the appropriate block.

Well I tried that(unchecking the "use the wecome screen"), I assumed that was the appropriate box you were referring to. That really changed things quite a bit. Now upon boot I get a screen that asks me to put in a password. I'm confused.

Oh, sorry... you want to go directly into the desktop? Download and install the Microsoft XP Power Toy Tweak UI and go to the Logon section and you can set up autologon from there.
