Running out of virtual memory perhaps. List your full system specs..

I only have 256mb of memory but that wouldnt explain why it gets slower over time, I did increase the size of the virtual memory to the max but it didnt help alot.

The fact that it's on 24/7 is a contributing factor as to why it gets slower with time. Even dedicated systems need to be shut down and rebooted periodically. The amount of RAM will have a bit to do with it too, as far as the length of time before it slows. Perhaps consider upping to 512, 768, or1024?

I know you need to restart computers occasionally because programs dont give back all the system recorces and I do but it is still just as slow, And i have other pc's with more ram but i still have the same problem.
