Meh, I don't believe those horror stories. I've had my P4 1.3 oc'd to 1.43 and it's been running great for more than one year. Although I rarely start it up () it still works perfectly. As well as this one that's overclocked... and my sig... and my E4300...

I've never seen a real difference at overclocking, so I leave everything at standard. I got with my 6800GT 25-30 FPS at NFS MW @ everything max and I overclocked my 6800GT to much higher then ultra settings and it gave me barely +5FPS.
Same counts for the CPU...

by the way oscaryu, speaking of your e4300, why do you post that rig in your sig instead of your dual core one?
