Default 3.0 GHz achievable? Recommendations?

I'm building a PC a week from tomorrow and this will be about my 5th or so build and my 3rd OC. 4 of the systems were for friends and one is mine. I OC'ed 2 of those systems and they still run fine today.

Mobo: Asus P5N32-E SLI (click)

CPU: Q6600 (click)

It will be SLI and my PSU is plenty big enough for OC'ing

What would be the recommended core and multiplyer to achieve this?

FYI, I'm either getting an Arctic Freeze 7 or a Zalman to cool it.

you should hit 3.0 fairly easily. Hopefully you get the G0 stepping!

I read about that from an Article in July, are they all G0 Stepping now?

If so, would that allow 3.2 or 3.4 fairly easily?

What's the max I can get with stock voltages?

They're about half and half, I'd say. I don't know what you'll get on stock voltages . Each is different.

Dont buy your chip unless it says G0 version on the site, pretty much most sites advertise the G0 version now

I'm getting it from NewEgg and most of the reviews that are recent are saying how they got G0 and it runs cooler with G0.

It doesn't say it has G0 but i'm guessing it has it.
