What are the advantages with Using POP3 to send emails to gmail over just forwarding
I am needing help in understanding the email system. What are the advantages with Using POP3 to send emails to gmail over just forwarding to gmail from your other accounts

Pop3 is used for mostly receieving email from an account. I use pop3 on my cell phone to receive my gmail. Forwarding from acct 1 to acct 2 is like pop3ing from acct 2 to acct 1... They are opposites...
