Default Windows Vista and DirectX10

Does it matter what version of Vista you have to play Direct X 10 games, and get the full experience?

some people might not agree but i would go with 3 gigs and with the specs of your build it should rock.

I heard something about DX10 in XP. Its just a rumor, or its not "true" DX10.

I can see a good difference between DX9 and DX10, the gameplay in dx10 is better IMO.

Get 4GB. For one, it's an even number of memory, and an even number of sticks, whether it's 2 or 4 of them, your computer will like that better. Secondly, future games are taking a lot of memory, and so does Vista, so it would be worth getting the 4GB just for that. Check out Newegg, they have some great deals, and check out the mail-in-rebates as well.
