Arrow Friends New Build

OK so my friend wants me to help him build a PC. I'm asking for help because I'm not so great at evening out the quality of the parts. He's going to be using it for gaming, might overclock and if he does it won't be big, he's decided on a case that he wants so I won't change that and his budget is 1500 AU max. He needs a screen as well as the tower, this price has to include shipping but we'll buy most of the parts locally so I was thinking maybe 200 $ for shipping?(Because of the case) I have a rough idea but it needs to be priced down a little. I don't think he want's mail in rebates unless it's absolutely necessary.

So far I have this:

CPU: Q6600/325$
From MSY (local shop)

Mobo:Gigabyte p35-DS3l/125$
From MSY (local shop)

Hard Drive: 250 GB Sata/82$
From MSY (local shop)

Ram: Corsair TWIN2X 2 GB (1x2 sticks)/86.49$
From http://www.stonebridgecomputing.com....4bb66d889ec6df

PSU: Coolermast iGreen 500/120
From http://www.xpmicro.com.au/cgi-bin/xp...ml?id=8ZzXGtPE

GPU: Zotac 8800 GT 512 MB/ 335 (Bad brand?)
From MSY (local shop)

Optical: SATA 20x Aopen DVD RW/ 37$
From MSY (local shop)

Case: Eagle Viper 2.0/125 $ (He wants this case)
From http://www.scorptec.com.au/product/23934/

Monitor: 19” 5ms WS DVI Viewsonic VA1912W/222$
From MSY (local shop)

------Total--1457.49$--------

Remember this has to include shiping!
So i reckon i'm roughly 200-250$ over budget!

EDIT: He can go over a little for shipping.

If I could find some way to fit it into the budget I would but I'm already over. To lower the costs I was thinking about getting a 3850 instead. I thought the price of the GT would go down once the new GTS came out but I was wrong.

cheaper parts? i dont think that there are any different cards, as far as i know Nvidia puts the stock HSF's on themselves, all these companies do is dress the cards up and set different clocks sometimes.

If you are overbudget, down the GPU to 8800GT 256MB (US$200) and down CPU to E6750.

Hmm, HD3870? I think the RAM is overkill too...

I thought the RAM might be a little too much any suggestions??

And I figured if a get a 256 MB 8800 GT I can get a better brand for the same price. Its XFX.Should I?? He's not gonna be playing at a high resolution probably 1280 x 1024.

Shipping might cost a little less because of only three things needing to ship. And he said I can go over a little if I need to for shipping.

Yeah, RAM is overkill. XFX and EVGA are good brands.

Hows this. Same RAM just a little higher timings.

http://www.stonebridgecomputing.com....4bb66d889ec6df

Saves us a little bit of cash too, only costs $86.49

Or maybe this.

http://www.anevacomputers.com.au/pro...cts_id=1220030

Costs a little less. $72.13

EDIT: Added Corsair Ram to Build
