Default VPU error?

Yesterday I decided to bring my comp (the one in sig) over to my friends house. So I logged of WoW, disconnected it and brought it over to his place. Hooked it all up and fired up WoW again a few minutes in the game freezes, screen goes black then the game pops back up and a VPU recovery error pops up. I checked card temps and they were at 54C at max load. Which should be fine.

So I played for a bit more and it happened again and again, I closed WoW and was trying to figure it out. Then it started happening more and more frequently, in the end it was happening every 10 seconds. I decided to call it quits for the day haul the comp home and check it out.

So I leave come home hook it up, going on 7 hours now no black screen, no falter in anything... I just don't get it, his house was quiet a bit hotter than mine. But I've ran this comp with no case fans on for 2 weeks straight and not had a problem. And I had all case fans up and running at his place, the front is a 160mm, 2x 1200mm on the side, and a 120mm in the back. So it has plenty of ventilation, all the cords are hidden out of airflow way also. Anyone got any ideas?
