I use Outlook Express for my email and sometimes messages I get will be marked as Spam but usually it is stuff I am supposed to receive. A lot of messages I get from ebay are marked as Spam. For the subject, it has the word Spam in parenthesis then the subject. Now they do not go into the Antispam folder but I wanted to know how I get the word Spam off of the message. I have looked but I can't find anything to take that off. How do I get the word Spam from showing up in the subject? I am using windows XP pro.

the word *SPAM*HIGH* or likewise is often taken upon outlook express itself, you cannot remove it.
Do u have any filters or something similar or an added program with Outlook express that filters it. cause to my knowledge OE does not have a solid spam filter and most of those drops into your inbox directly, unlike Microsoft Outlook which has a strict policy on that. In my opinion, i suggest you allow the domain (ebay@whatever.com) to pass and go to inbox

The messages that are marked spam do go into my inbox but I just wanted to remove the word spam from the subject line.
Well, I do have AVG 7.5 that scans my email messages. Would that have anything to do with it?

you can't remove the *SPAM" it's not possible, and you can try turning AVG mail scanner off but i highly doubt it will help cause here i use NOD, i get spam and with NOD off, the header (*spam*) stays

Why would they be marked Spam? Does it have to do with Outlook Express? We have Insight Broadband so what if I go to their website to receive my mail instead of using Outlook Express?
