Default Vista Home Basic

Hi,
I plan to buy a new PC and my budget allow me to have only Vista Home basic installed.

Would like to check is windows movie maker come in Vista home basic ?
If not, how to have it enable ?

I still very confuse if vista home basic really come with movie maker (i just need the basic feature to teach my kid). I went to Computer retail shop and they show me a PC with Vista home basic come with windows movie maker but when i read microsoft web site, seems like 1 site say no, but another site still introduce movie maker in home basic edition..Very confuse. I just want to use the basic movie editing future to teach my kid how to use windows movie maker.

I would believe it does, as XP Home came with it. You might be getting it confused with Windows Media Center, which does not come with Vista Home Basic.

Now I would highly recommend getting Vista Home Premium, as it has many more multimedia features and other features.

But microsoft web site below stated that home basic don't come with windows movies maker.

but when i went to PC retail , they show me home basic edition with movie maker.

I wish that someone has installed this version tell me the true..

Vista Home Basic does include Windows Movie Maker.
