Default I'm a new OC'er, but is this the right idea?

Ok, this will be my first FULL out on my own OC, and I don't want to screw it up. Read through these steps and tell me if I am right.

1. After windows install, make sure system is running fine, no problems.
2. Restart, go into Bios, edit Core and Multiplier (333 9x on a Q6600)
3. Run windows and run Prime95 for a minimum 2 hours to see if it is stable
4. If it is, lower voltages until it is UNSTABLE, then raise them a tad until it is stable again.

OR

If it is unstable, raise voltages until it is stable again and then do step 4.

5. Start windows and make sure it is still fine, works perfectly etc.
6. Start to configure Power Save options so it keeps your board and CPU cool when not on a full load.

Correct?

I used this guide and read through it twice.

Any suggestions?

Well, I can't tell you yet, NewEgg's reviews have been people saying they have gotten the "SLACR" ID number which is G0 stepping, so I hope mine is, if it is B3, won't my voltages have to be a little higher?

You make baby jesus cry. You gross me out alittle too.

Run Orthos instead of P95 (or two instances at that rate). It's basically a single app capable of stressing both cores at the same time. Also, I'd run for a longer period than two hours, while no errors in two hours is a good sign, that doesn't mean the OC is inherently stable. Plan for a overnight stress, or at the most, a 24hr period.

Edit: Two instances of Orthos, I think. I didn't that Quad there, right in front of my eyes.
