Default Questions'bout NAT. Plz kindly help. ^^

I've a few questions'bout NAT.

1stly, can NAT exists without a host pc?

2nd, NAT can prevent malicious activity from attacking the pc behind NAT. May I know why is this?

3rd, will the host pc get attacked by the malicious activity instead of the pc behind NAT, which is the initial target?

Hope u can kindly help to answer my questions. Thank u. ^^

Wat type of malicious activity will affect the host pc, if the host pc will be affected instead of the initial target behind the NAT?

Thx in advance. ^^

NAT will stop attatcaks to a node PC. so the Host (Normally a Router) will just bouce things back and pass what it needs to the None PC. also another reson to use NAT is so that you can use a single EXTERNAL ip if you had lots of external ips it would cost a bomb. but you can have as many internall or class C address as you like (192.168.0.1 etc.)

Can u clarify a bit wat's node PC & none pc?

& the host can be a router only? As well as a pc?

If the host is a pc, will the attack affects the host pc?

Thx. ^^
