Default iTune's Volume Hack?

Hey, i've got a iPod nano which is 2nd generation and is 4gb. There is a thing on itunes where you can adjust the volume to make it louder or quiet(this works on some iPods) but on the nano it doesnt work, because the volume has been capped so it cant go really loud. Does anyone know of a way to hack this to make the volume be able to go alot louder as i cant really hear it on the subway because of all the noise around me.
Thanks
