Default CPU-Z Screenshot... help?

Everything look ok? I can't play video games for some reason. Someone suggested ram issues. Also... I am overclocked to 3.06ghz but it shows 2.4ghz for some reason.

EDIT: I downclocked to 2.97ghz. And it reads 1.97!?

Is the problem with the computer in your sig or another comp?? Do you have that 7900GT?? If so, I don't know what the problem is, a 7900GT is a very good video card.

Man, nVidia traitor (Shouldn't be speaking )

Look VERY closely at that picture. It says E6600, so I'm inclined to say that it is his sig rig.

Go to CMOS and turn Intel SpeedStep off.

How do I do that? What will that accomplish?

StepSpeed/Speedstep decreases the frequency, thus decreasing the speed. Once needed at 100%, it will rise again. Here's a lil article:

That's interesting... umm. How do I turn it off now? hahaha :-/

I followed the instructions to turn it on for WinXP. But I didn't see anything to turn it off in BIOS.

But now that i'm thinking about it. If it cranks up the frequency as soon as I load a program or something to that effect. What is the benefit of leaving the frequency cranked all the time?
