Default starting ordering parts last night

ordered last night for my new comp. got the following. should run nice.

cpu cooler is on the way, mouse,keyboard, dvd burner as of right now. just need video card or cards and processor and ill be good to go. gonna run this with a q6600 quad and a 8800 geforce card of soem sort. looking into the 8800gt series from evga

i just ordered this last night. and im not looking for upgrades right now.

that power supply is lower then the one i have now. id like the extra power as i may go sli with 2 8800gt cards

and i like the reviews on the corsair ram. plus price was good for me

Look at it this way, 2x 8500GT's won't beat a single 8600.

SLi is made for people who basically go for looks and stuff over performance... After buying the SLi motherboard, SLi ready PSU, and 2x cards, you could've gotten a whole new and overall faster card, and still have a bunch of cash left...

i acough about this. for the price of the 2 8800gt cards, i could get a awesome gtx card, or gts card. i heard so many different opinions on sli that imin the air about it. not sure what ill come up wit.

now i just gotta get a cable for my oem drive i bought, and another hard drive. almost got all the parts. should be going together soon enough.

Meh, your build...

A GTX is... around a teeny bit better than the 8800GT itself...

One better card is the winner over 2 slower cards.
