I just installed windows onto my computer, but I am having a problem just having it boot up without using a CD. I installed it all the way, but it still say it requires a boot CD to run. I went into the Bios to have it boot from the Hard Drive first, but still no luck.
I'm using XP by the way. |

Are you sure you run the install all the way through?

Yes, I installed it all the way through and it asks me for a CD to boot from. I went in and disconnected my disk drive and made the hard drive the slave and it booted up without a CD.
It is kind of a moot point as of now. My dad saying that there were to many cords jumbled decided to "Fix it" and he fried it. |
