What is the best intel dual core for my buck and performance?

in australia i have found that the E6750 is the best because its $100 cheaper then then E6850 but not much more then the E6650.

not sure what would be good for you tho. as nevakonaza says it would be good to know what you would be prepared to spend.

If you got the E6850, might as well jump to the Q6600... Better performance and more future proof...

For 250 for a Dual, get the E6750. For the price of a E6850 I would go ahead and get the Quad Q6600

I would advise you to be future proof and get the Q6600. If your into overclocking, you should be able to get it to 3.0GHz without raising the voltage, and far beyond that with a slight voltage bump.
