Default Installing Vista?

Hello all,

I bought Vista and am trying to install it on my sister's laptop. Her Dell HD died so I bought and installed another one. Obviously it is blank so I booted the Vista disk and it's telling me that Vista cannot install on this partition because it is a GPT.

Any idea what I can do now? It doesnt ask me to partition it as a NTFS or FAT32.

Any ideas? Thanks.

I tried converting it to an MBR from the Vista disk Command prompt but its telling me that the disk is not empty (even though I deleted it and repartitioned it).
