Question X-Fi... Xtreme audio or Xtreme Gamer?

Hi guys,

I was wondering about which of these two sound card would be best for me

Soundblaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio
or
Soundblaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer

I will be using my computer for the following:
1. Music - every day
2. Games - somewhat often
3. Movies - on occasion

The Xtreme Gamer is nearly double the price of the Xtreme Audio but I was wondering how well they would be for what I want.

Is the Xtreme Gamer any good for music and movies and is the Xtreme Audio adequate for games?

I will be using logitech G51 5.1 speakers

Some advice would be terrific.... thanks heaps

X-treme gamer is better, in everything. Remember, if its for games, its the best, as games are one of the most demanding pieces of software available.

why don't you want onboard memory? it's memory dedicated only for sound instead of using some of your main memory

I have the Xtreme Audio and it seems to be good enough for me, while it's got software effects as opposed to hardware effects on the FATAL1TY card. But it is a lot cheaper and if you have a powerful PC anyway there's not a lot of point. I play games a lot and switching from itegrated to this card made little to no difference to me in terms of FPS.
