The Raptor and Raptor X are both SATA (I have one of each).

The case, while it looks pretty, is a pain. I don't recommend it. If you stick with it, buy a PSU with extra long cables, or you'll be buying extensions.

Rosewill PSUs are cheap. I would get a better unit, personally.

I'm not thrilled with the RaptorX performance. I would get the WD740 for your main drive. You'll probably find that it outperforms the RaptorX.
