^ apparently new egg is wrong o nthe chipset for this board.. on MSI's web site it says it supports quad core's

I would go for the Gigabyte. Never had much luck with MSI motherboards. This Gigabyte is 20 bucks cheaper unless you were looking at the gigabyte in the link because to has DDR2 and DDR3

yeah... i would go with the first one too since it supports a quad core processor, i mean in the long run its better if you want to upgrade later...
