Botched pic download, Suse 10.3

I just installed Open Suse 10.3 on my linux machine, and attempted to download some x-mas pic's from the camera, but the camera battery expired before the download completed, and now f-spot (my photo's) won't open. Do I need a different codec to repair f-spot? I wonder where the partial download went? I'm noobie to linux, but I really like the Suse 10.3!

I tried to reinstall repository f-spot (0.4.0) in YaST package selector, to no avail. Should I just reinstall OS again?... anyone use Suse? Tkx's

well i did use suse but that was way back (10.2)
anyhoo, i suggest you use Smart (for you repo,not Yast)
As for F-spot, remove it completely. Then re-install.
you probably re-installed F-spot over a broken one so that caused errors
