Is this mobo any good?

Yes that motherboard is good, and given that the motherboard you are comparing use the same chipset, you won't notice any difference in gaming from one to the other. The only real differences between the brands are BIOS features, and different cooling solutions.
Personally I wouldn't buy Intel motherboards since they lack many overclocking/tweaking settings, I would go with Asus or other well known company. This would be a great choice: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131219
