Default DirectX 10 in XP?

I was told there is a way to get DX10 with Windows XP. I know XP is not designed for it but apparently it can be done. Anyone know what needs to be downloaded to get DX10 in XP?

Only thing I've heard of is the alpha build of Alky project. Very bold project that is attempting to create a program(s) that will modify the API of a DX10 game, to run on the SDK of DX10, on a multitude of operating systems.. I was prompted to check the site, to give you any new news, but the server seems to be down.. Whether temporarily or otherwise, it's disheartening news.

Here's an Ars technica article on them,

I dunno of anything similar going on though.

There was a way to get the demo of crysis to play at full settings, you had to go into the crysis file and change a setting. It made it play on a DX9 system with all of the settings that were supposed to be only available with DX10.

But otherwise there is nothing out yet that makes DX10 work with XP.

Heres a link to a forum that tells you how to do it.
