Most of the time the screen will freeze, you might get a error and the computer will lockup or restart.

Speaking from experience, in COD 2 i would get as far as moving my player, the screen would lock, an annoying repetitive noise would sound and after a while the pc would restart.

Your graphics card sometimes will tell you if it's being underpowered, then it'll downclock itself. If it's really severe your computer will crash.
