I decided to overclock my E4500 and I got it up to about 3.3GHz stable on stock cooler. It ran a little hotter than I would have liked and so I decided to go back down to the stock 2.2GHz until I got a new cooler.
Now, I've decided to overclock it again to around 2.7GHz or 2.9GHz, but the problem is that it WON'T overclock it. No matter what I do, even just to 2.3GHz it won't boot up. It will start, but before getting past the POST the computer shuts down and reverts back to the stock settings. Is there a setting that I'm missing in the BIOS? I've tried raising the voltage on the CPU, lowering the RAM timings (and raising it), and many other things. What's going on? Help, please! Thanks.
