Default K8mm3-v Help

Hi!
I had bought an MSI K8MM3-V motherboard with an AMD Athlon64 3200+ CPU
I have 1GB DDR400 and an MSI NX6200AX AGP grapics card.
The problem is that I have connected everything but when I turn on the computer the monitor turns off. This is a used monitor and I dont know that is it working correctly. But I had tryed to connect to a laptop and works. But I just connect to the PC and turns off.
Please help because I dony know what is the problem.

I just replaced the same motherboard yesterday due to hardware failure. Not that it's relevant to your problem, but just a coincidence.

Sometimes we do some real basic mistakes when hooking up hardware so I am going to throw this out to you.

By any chance did you hook the monitor cable up to the onboard video instead of the video card? I've done that before and then scratched my head wondering why I have no video.
