Default Windows User help!

My mom and I use this computer and I wanted to know something about the start menu. She uses this for work until 5:00PM then she gives me free range to do whatever I want with it. I have downloaded some games, and she has downloaded some programs that she needs to do work.
On the start menu we both have each others programs that were installed, even though we were not on the same user. When I go to delete her stuff from my start menu it says it will change it for all users. As you could guess I don't want this this to happen.
How do I get it where I can delete something from the startup without it effecting other accounts?

a firewall is like a gate. it keeps the bad people out and the dog in but it's not fool proof. but lets say you download and run an infected program. that will be like letting in a "friend." if it's infected you run that program you can get malware. that's like a friend raping your family and stealing your money.
