Default Not Reading Some Games..Any Help?

Ok i just bought Command & Conquer The First Decade and i put the disc in and nothing happens i go to my computer and open the cd-rw drive and its not showing anything in there. I have a TDK CDRW5200B and i had this problem with Medievel Total War aswell. I was wondering if buying a new drive will solve this. I mean i tried it on a laptop and it worked fine. If buying a new drive will solve this will you tell me which is a as good as the TDK CDRW5200B or better.

I, myself, prefer Lite-On drives. I've never had one fail me yet and thats all I get for mine and my customers builds. I'm sure others will recommend different brands.

Pretty sure what your problen is those games are on DVD not CD, so your CD Burner isnt going to read them. Need to get you a DVD-ROM or DVD Burner.
