Default Need some help

I built my first computer and everything went pretty well. Had it up and running, playing games and everything was great for 2-3 days. Speedfan said my temps were at 38C as the highest temp I had seen after playing game. So I leave for two days so I shut the comp down. I get back today, start it up and it starts, but screen is blank. So I shut it off and make sure all connections in the back are good and try restarting. It turns on and all fans start for about a second and then comp shuts off and wont start back up. I turn off PSU and unhook everything in the back, hook up again and it does teh same thing.

Any ideas what this may be?

My components are Asus P5N-E SLI mobo, Quad core Q6600, NVIDIA 8800 GT graphix card, 700 W PSU

Update: No problems starting it up now, but still I just get a black screen on the monitor. Also, my mouse is a USB hookup and it doesn't appear that it is working (mouse doesn't light up). Not sure what has happened since it all worked previously.

might be a dead component.
try booting without your CD/DVD drive plugged in

Tried unplugging the dvd/cd rom, floppy disk drive and harddrive and tried to see if it was something with these, but I still just get a black screen. Everything is running inside, including the graphix card fan. I guess this would mean its probably either the graphix card or the PSU right? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

I agree with the graphics card, i hear that some people have had a lot of problems with the quad cores and graphics cards.
