building an ultra quiet pc for audio recording, need a recommendation on a motherboard/cpu
i dont really keep on what the hottest new tech stuff out there
someone recommended the Gigabyte GA-P35-DQ6 + Intel Q6600 quad core CPU to me, what do you guys think of it?
cost is not a major factor here, most important thing is the system does the job without performance issues, but id like to keep the price reasonable.

don't need that expensive motherboard. just get a cheaper DS3R. but you need a very good soundcard

dont need to buy a soundcard
