a firewall is like a gate. it keeps the bad people out and the dog in but it's not fool proof. but lets say you download and run an infected program. that will be like letting in a "friend." if it's infected you run that program you can get malware. that's like a friend raping your family and stealing your money.

The log looks fine.

Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
From the Control Panel, click Security Center.
Make sure Windows Firewall shows On.

Let's clear out the programs we've been using to clean up your computer, they are not suitable for
general malware removal and could cause damage if launched accidentally.

Please download OTMoveIt2 by OldTimer OTMoveIt2.exe and place it on your desktop.

1. Double click OTMoveIt2.exe to launch it.
2. Click on the CleanUp! button.
3. OTMoveIt2 will download a list from the Internet, if your firewall or other defensive programs alerts you, allow it access.
4. Click YES at the next prompt (list downloaded, Do you want to begin cleanup process?)
  • When finished exit out of OTMoveIt2

Your Java is out of date leaving your system vulnerable.
Older versions of Java have vulnerabilities that malware can use to infect your system.

Updating Java:
  • Go to Start > Control Panel double-click on Add/Remove programs and remove all older versions of Java.
  • Check for any item with Java Runtime Environment (JRE or J2SE) in the name.
    • The latest version is Java 6 Update 3. Remove all other entries.
  • Click the Remove or Change/Remove button.
  • Repeat as many times as necessary to remove each of the Java versions.
  • Reboot your computer once all Java components are removed.
  • Download the latest version of Java Runtime Environment
  • Click the Free Java Download button.
  • Click the Download Now button.
  • When the Software Installation dialog box opens. Click on the Install Now button.
  • Follow the prompts to complete installation.

Go to Start > Run and copy and paste next command in the field:

ComboFix /u

Make sure there's a space between Combofix and /
Then hit Enter.

This will uninstall Combofix, delete its related folders and files, reset your clock settings, hide file extensions, hide the system/hidden files and resets System Restore again

If anything else comes up just let us know.
