Default creating bootable windows cd

Where can I download a copy of a bootable disk for windows xp, if for any reason my computer would not boot up properly it would try to boot up from a cd. I am using sp2.

lol i think that's something you have to buy. windows is not free. don't you already have the CD when you bought your comp or already bought the software?

hopefully you're not trying to pirate copyrighted stuff, as it is forum rules for me not to tell you how

no i am not trying to pirate software i am trying to download a bootable cd that will help me boot up windowes if there are known problems. And no i do not have a cd like that. I am trying to download one or create on like previous windows (98) has the ability to let you do so.

how did you install your windows then? just use the CD that came with the comp or the CD you bought

I did not receive any cd . in case windows encounters a problem i can use the cd to try to boot up windows.

hmm then i'm stumped because all the original restoration files are on software CDs unless the manufacturer has it already hidden somewhere on the HD. was this comp custom built or did you buy it prebuilt?

The restorations of the computer files is a non destructive recovery when i restart the computer and press f10, in can restore the files I want a cd that will boot the computer not restore it when there is a problem
