If there's an AGP or PCI or PCI express slot on your motherboard you should be able to.

currently i am using an onboard video card for my computer but i want to get a new video card so i can get S-Video on my TV. And theres 2 PCI slots (very old mobo). So just wondering do i have to disable the onboard video manually or i can just plug the new vid card in the mobo and it will work?

So not the PC in your sig, eh.

So what PC is it?

You can get pci video cards, mostly low end FX5xxxx or 6200 maybe.

Without knowing the system some you disable in the BIOS, or their is a jumper on the board to disable onboard graphics and a few need disabling in Device Manager.

Any computer can add a GFX... just as long as you have an expansion slot that's empty.
