Dead laptop batt? Need rep ASAP.
It's a old Sony Vaio. It was plugged in the outlet when the AC adapter sparked. I bought a Fujitsu Universal adapter and the laptop still won't turn on. Do you think it's a dead batt?
Pics:   Reply ASAP, I'm leaving in an hour to go to the comp store to maybe buy a new batt.

Its more of an adapter problem, not a battery problem.

nevermind. both the adapter and battery are fried. i bought a universal 16v adapter and now it works. i just have to take out the battery.
good thing it's not my laptop as i don't have one. it's my sister's CRAPTOP.
