graphics problem during gameplay

hey i was wondering if anyone here could help me, i recently installed a radeon 3850 in my system (E6400 2.13ghz, 320gig HD, 2gb ddr2 800mhz ram, ASrock 775dual-VSTA) and ever since then when ive tried to play games like crysis and oblivion the display is kind of distorted like this :

ive tried uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling them, doing the same with the games, ive tried looking up the problem but because i dont exactly know what it would be called, i dont really know what im looking for

Artifacting... Your computer GFX is overheating. Is the fan spinning? Try turning it up with Speedfan...
