So i decided to purchase a new mouse thinking it may help while playing battlefield 2. Figured it would be simple and i never expected this.
Anyway i went to best buy and got an excellent deal on a raser larchesis . Very nice compfortable and everything. I installed the drivers looked at the software mapped the keys i wanted in bf2. Got familiar with it . Great. on the desktop the mouse works fine on all dpi settings . i can adjust it on the fly no problem. But in game it basically doesnt work at all. If i was standing and i move left to right with the mouse unless its on the lowest dpi setting the character doesnt move. if i simultaneously try to fire it doesnt even respond. like the moving left and right has it busy or something. if its on the lowest setting dpi 250 i still cant even play . it doesnt work well at all. I had to plug in my old microsoft 5 button mouse and use that. I nver imagined this would be a problem. Does anyone know what is happening. Is it broken ? can the pc not keep up? Btw i have a p4 2.6 ghz cpu 2 gb ram ati 9600xt video card asus Mb. To me so far this thing is worthless its sitting on the floor. I thought it might help me in gaming but i dont know. I went to best buy to get a logitec mx518 or g5 but this was a deal at the same price so i bought it. It was an open box Is it broken maybe? I still have a hard time thinking its busted because on the desktop it works fine. I read something on the rasor website about the diamndback and changing the process priority to high. I did try that and it didnt do anything. I also tried lowering the polling that made no difference either. So raser is closed till monday and im not sure if i should just return it. All and any help is much appreciated Thanks |
